Galena Elks Lodge will host a broasted chicken dinner fundraiser in support of a local Boy Scout troop. The fundraiser for Galena Boy Scout Troop 95 will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. May 15 at Galena Elks Lodge, 123 North Main St., according to an online event announcement. Tickets for the dinner are $15 each, with proceeds used to offset transportation costs for the Boy Scout troop’s “High Adventure” trip to Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia. Eat-in and carry-out options are available. The lodge also will host jukebox bingo beginning at 7 p.m. immediately following dinner.

A popular annual breakfast will be held at a Dubuque park on Mother’s Day. The Boy Scouts’ annual Order of the Arrow Mother’s Day Pancake Breakfast will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on May 12 at Eagle Point Park. The breakfast will include all-you-can-eat pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage links, milk, coffee and juice, according to an online announcement. Tickets are $10 each. Children age 4 and younger can eat for free. The event raises funds for Order of the
Arrow Timmeu Lodge 74.

Camp Courageous will hold its annual omelet breakfast and open house from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, April 28, at the camp’s main lodge, 12007 190th St., rural Monticello. Visitors will have an opportunity to tour the camp’s facilities and eat a breakfast of made-to-order omelets with sausage, toast, coffee, juice and milk. The event also includes live music, youth activities, train rides and other activities. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. All proceeds benefit Camp Courageous, a year-round recreational, respite and travel program for individuals of all ages with disabilities.
